Loughborough High School is an independent day school for girls aged 11-18. The School was founded in 1850, and is believed to be one of the country’s oldest grammar schools for girls. The school comprises of elegant 19th century architecture for its principal buildings set in the tree lined avenue of Burton Walks.
This school project was to install and supply furniture for six laboratory classrooms and additional prep rooms, on this project we used LAB20 solid surface worktops to match existing classroom facilities.
The school chose the pod layout as this matched existing rooms within the school and gave them more flexibility in terms of table layout for pupils. Each POD contained the main services of Gas, Electric and Data.
