Trespa® Toplab Plus Worksurfaces
Selecting the right work surface for any science classroom is important, Trespa TopLabPLUS is designed especially for a science classroom environment providing staff and pupils with a surface that is up to today’s modern demands and standards. Using Trespa TopLabPLUS is important when performing tests and experiments and using a large number of aggressive chemicals, as it provides a resilient and easy to clean work surface.
Features of Trespa Toplab Plus
In a scientific classroom environment Trespa TopLabPLUS provides a work surface that is resistant to non-abrasive organic cleaning solvents, making it easy to clean and disinfect. Having a closed surface composition which provides a low dirt pick up when it comes to cleaning, and is resistant to mould and rot.
The surface is used in school science classrooms worldwide, it is resistant to a large number of chemicals identified by the SEFA (Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association) and PSI (Professional Services Industries). This is based on the chemicals being cleaned off the surface within 24 hours.
Trespa TopLabPLUS has inherited antibacterial properties though its design and finish, this is without the addition of microbial additives. An independent test by the British Industrial Microbiological Services Ltd. (IMSL) showed that an almost complete elimination of certain bacteria was present after 24 hours.

Trespa TopLabPLUS is a flexible product allowing it to be fitted easily around taps, sinks and other equipment, without compromising its look or performance. It can be machined like a high quality hardwood giving it a clean, crisp edge and uniformed openings.

These finishes are available for worktop thicknesses 16 and 20mm.
